Our Client:

The Caledonian Hotel is a hotel in Newcastle, England, which unites the graceful spirit of Georgian architecture with the modern edge of contemporary refurbishment. They offer beautiful wedding packages and are listed as one of the ultimate gay wedding venues by the G Wedding Directory, and they also host events such as the rustic afternoon tea party and various seasonal occasions.

Their problem:

This client felt as though it was difficult to know how many people they were reaching, as physical flyers are immeasurable and unreliable. They also wanted a fresh coat of paint in the design department, as they wanted their banners and other marketing materials to be more eye-catching and modern. This would help them break into a younger audience, especially those looking for wedding venues- as wedding bookings were something the client wanted a stronger focus on.

How we helped…

Although we had an initial plan of Search Engine Marketing alongside Social Media Marketing, we decided that it would be more beneficial to first design a chatbot to act as their new leaflet or newsletter, describing all their events in detail to those visiting their page, and more importantly, collecting data of how many people are looking at these events, and which are interesting customers. We also made the decision to introduce Facebook ads, with the intention of increasing brand awareness, generating traffic to the chatbot and landing page visits for their events. On top of this, we implemented a 4k Virtual Tour of their facilities so any interested parties would have a detailed idea of what they’re getting.
